Our Story

We’re first generation farmers (led by owner/operator Kait Crowley) raising pastured lamb, pork and poultry near Sweet Home, Oregon on the traditional lands of the Kalapuya people. Established in Autumn of 2018, we practice multi-species rotational grazing to renovate the pastures we steward into nutrient-dense forage. It’s our goal to bring you the tastiest, most ethical meat we can that’s good for people, critters, and the land we all share. We are proud to be certified Animal Welfare Approved and a member of the Oregon Pasture Network.

Our animals rotate seasonally through our Oregon Tilth Certified Organic pasture and receive organic feed (corn-free, soy-free and non-GMO) milled in the pacific northwest from whole grains and peas. Our hogs also enjoy organic cull crops from our open-pollinated seed company neighbors, and are finished on organic fruit from Oregon orchards. Our organic lamb is always 100% grass-fed and grain free. We've taken care to select hearty breeds that thrive in our region and produce full-flavored meat you'll be proud to serve at your table.

Beginning in 2024, we added a no-till organic vegetable field and grow wholesale crops for local schools and food banks with soil-first, climate-smart techniques.

Values

Dedicated to community, integrity, environmental stewardship, and deliciousness, we believe everyone deserves to eat well, and beautifully.

Community

For us, commitment to community means social, economic and food justice. We pledge to source as locally as possible, strive to make our product available to a wide audience of eaters, and help establish regional farming cooperatives.

Integrity

We participate in third party certification programs to verify that we represent our practices accurately and honestly. Supporting these institutions is good for farms and for consumers.

Environmental stewardship

We recognize that caring for the health of soil, water and air both locally and globally is our primary responsibility. This conviction guides our systems design and purchasing decisions.

deliciousness

We raise regionally appropriate breeds in a pasture-based system with high quality Pacific Northwest-grown grains and organic veggies to produce meat with unsurpassed vitality and taste.
