‘Pay-What-You-Can’ CSA

(Summer) May-October

(Winter) November-April

Monthly Farm Share / Farm and Neighborhood Pick Up Sites

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Basically, it’s a farm subscription that benefits both eaters and growers. Think of it as the original meal kit service, but rooted in your local economy and with far less packaging waste! You sign up to receive our pastured pork and poultry each month for a full season. By committing in advance, and paying part or all of the cost up front, you support farms early in the year when we need it most. To say thanks, we set our CSA pricing at a discount. You’ll save compared to shopping at Farmers Market. We accept EBT/SNAP.

Here’s how it works. CSA memberships are farm shares. You choose a Chicken Share to receive our tasty pastured birds, or a Combo Share to enjoy a variety of different farm curated cuts of our pork plus poultry, and a bit of our grass-fed lamb. Once a month your farm-box (actually, we use recyclable paper bags) will be ready for pick up from our cooler at the site you choose. In the summer, if you also have a CSA membership with one of our awesome certified organic partner farms (Little Wings, Sweet Leaf!), we’ll deliver your share to your veggie drop site location.

What’s in a Combo Share? Good Question. Check out the example share below. We’ll give you new cuts each month to keep things interesting. We designed this box to approximate the experience of purchasing a 1/2 Hog for folks who don’t have the freezer space to store that much meat at once. Your Combo Share will always include a pasture-raised chicken and often a pound or two of 100% grass-fed ground lamb, but will prominently feature our delicious pastured pork- it’s the star of the show!

Hey, this sounds great, but I could use a little help…

We understand that purchasing responsibly-raised, farm-fresh foods can be frustratingly expensive for most eaters, especially when it comes to meat. So we’re offering some options.

We use a pay-what-you-can community pricing model. You pay the amount that fits your budget. If you've got the need, select a discounted share. If you've got the means, consider pitching in a little extra to help others afford a share by choosing the sponsor tier. Discount shares become available as we have sponsors. If discount shares are sold out when you sign up, please send us an email to get on our wait list.

We have a few no-cost shares available for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, immigrant, low-income, and formerly incarcerated folks each year. All no-cost shares have been claimed for 2024, so please check for discount shares.

You’ll get a discount (woot!) if you’re able to pay for your membership in full now, but you can also opt to pay in monthly installments.
